Families with a disabled child often have that lonely, isolated feeling and so do disabled teenagers. Getting out and making friends of your own age, joining clubs or interest groups, enjoying sports - for young people these things are vital, but for disabled young people and their families they can be extremely difficult. SNAP is a parent-led support agency for families of disabled children and young people in Bexley, and provides a wide range of services to both children and their parents and carers. Membership of Bexley SNAP is free, and when you join we will invite you to have an initial meeting with us either at one of our Drop Ins or by appointment at the office, where we will provide you with a welcome pack that will give full details of the services that you and your family may be eligible to use, many of which are also free. To join Bexley SNAP your family must live in the London Borough of Bexley. We support families of disabled children and young people with Additional Needs aged between 0 to 19 years. This includes, but is not limited to children and young people with: · Autism Spectrum Disorders · ADHD · Dyslexia/Dyspraxia/Dyscalculia · Mild to Severe learning difficulties · Physical impairments · Speech and language impairments · Special Educational Needs If your family meet this criteria and you would like to join SNAP, you can download a copy of our membership referral form by clicking the links below.
